Volunteer Opportunities

Education

An educated community is a health community. Educational opportunities include

  • Health fairs
  • Oral health classes
  • Providing information on diabetes and other related health issues

If you are interested in volunteering as an educator or presenter, contact Danelle Holdaway at 801.429.2029 or danelle@communityhealthconnect.org

Interpreters

To help connect everyone together, Community Health Connect arranges for fluent interpreters to assist patients at appointments if necessary. Most patients needing an interpreter speak Spanish, but other languages are also welcome. Experience with medical and dental terminology and practice is helpful, but assistance is available.  If you are interested in becoming an interpreter, contact Dodd Greer at 801.818.3015 or dodd@communityhealthconnect.org.

Office Work

There is always extra work around the office. This includes the usual office work like answering phones, filing, data entry, and customer service, but can also include projects focused on your interests.  If you are interested in management or administrative work, let us know.   We love dedicated volunteers who are self-motivated and driven.  If you are interested in volunteering in our office,  contact Starr Stratford at 801.818.3012 or starr@communityhealthconnect.org
